A simple look at Internet Security editions of Antivirus



If you are into online shopping, online banking and more online activities, you may have encounter the Internet Security edition of many popular Antivirus because your are concerned about your online security. They give much more security on your PC and added protection for your online browsing.



Internet Security edition of many known Antivirus programs are really great as long as you stick with them because they are really a pain when you uninstall them. They have a much greater protection but also it takes much more space. If you have a 2Gb Ram only, don't install the Internet Security edition of any Antivirus because at start up, your PC will be already running about 1-1.5 Gb of memory.

If you did install it and in the future uninstall it due to some reasons, expect some troubleshooting after because some Internet Security are really hard to uninstall and others even damage your Internet Connection after the uninstall process.

The best solution to uninstall it is to go to the official website of your Internet Security program and search for the uninstaller. If your Internet connection is broken after uninstalling it, just run your command prompt as administrator and type the 3 commands below.

netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig/flushdns



Reboot after the 3 commands are done. The first two commands are the important one, the flushdns is just a precaution. Even if your PC is normal, you can always type the 3 commands above because they somehow makes your browsing faster.
